I’m a Venezuelan-born, Los Angeles–based product and brand designer with 20+ years of experience spanning Latin America, Europe, and the United States.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked across industries — from healthcare and media to entertainment and civic tech — leading initiatives that merge thoughtful UX, inclusive branding, and business strategy.

My philosophy is simple:
Great design isn’t just about aesthetics — it’s about empathy, resourcefulness, and measurable impact.

Growing up during political upheaval in Venezuela, and later moving to a small Caribbean village, taught me early the value of scrappiness — how creativity thrives under constraints. Later, a personal family experience navigating a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) reinforced for me the life-changing power of human-centered, accessible design.

Today, I’m most energized by mission-driven work that improves people’s lives — particularly in healthcare, well-being, and social impact spaces. I bring a mindset rooted in:

  • Inclusive, user-centered systems (WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility focus)

  • Rapid, iterative prototyping (including Wizard of Oz MVP strategies)

  • Cross-functional collaboration with engineering, product, and executive teams

Along the way, I’ve led major initiatives like the full rebrand of the nonprofit newsroom WhoWhatWhy, helped reshape healthcare tools for 5M+ federal health program users (BCBSA FEP), and partnered with Emmy-winning producers to launch advocacy-driven digital platforms.
